Culture Management (Kadra Kultury)
Culture Management Programme provides an opportunity for managers to develop competences and offers to prepare specialists under the supervision and guidance of Polish and foreign experts so that modernly managed institutions become the centres of local artistic activity, open to the needs of increasingly demanding audiences.
Programme Aims:
The programme was devised according to the standards developed during realization of 2003-2009 programme “Polish Regions in the European Cultural Space” in which nearly 4000 culture sector staff were trained. The National Centre for Culture was the first institution in Poland to be taken under the patronage of the Ministry of Regional Development in the capacity of training in EU structural instruments.
Programme Components:

The trainings preparing culture sector staff to effectively manage cultural institutions and projects are the key element of the programme “Culture Management”. The programme comprises such topics as law, finances, developing competences, project management, EU funds, communication and promotion.
The trainings take a form of workshops; they include lectures, activities, teamwork, case studies, individual consultations. They are extensively subsidised, hence the fee is competitive in comparison with the trainings available on the market.

The trainees will create, in future, a network of experts cooperating with the National Centre for Culture, whereas consultants will additionally be able to provide consultancy services for culture centres regarding their functioning and strategic development planning.
The meetings include open lectures for all participants and a cycle of workshops in smaller teams. The project is run by experts in culture management from Poland, Belgium, the UK, Serbia and Macedonia.
